Thanks for the reply, I tried using pkgadd and it seemed to install ok but cvs bombs out right away because it can't find libz.so, I assume that this is part of solaris9 (or some other version of solaris past 6). I'll do my best to try and download the source files and build it myself and I'll let you know if I'm successful, otherwise your help in building it for solaris 6 will be much appriciated.
