After reading recent postings where the use of alias tags was mentioned I decided to test it in my test server running 2.5.1 RC2. So I did an rtag to add an alias tag to a branch I already had. What this accomplished was to put a new tag at the tip of the branch. Then I edited one file and committed it and looked again at the graph only to find that the new "alias" tag was still sitting at the original revision, which is no longer the tip of the branch. Was it not supposed to follow the tip as it moves forward or did I miss something here? Best regards, Bo Berglund
