Created a new user on that machine nad the same thing happens. When the default is used (:sspi:server:/repository connection string) CVSNT uses the local user name instead of the one used by Windows (e.g. when connecting to a shared folder). This happens only on that PC and only with the newer CVSNT builds :-( > You can get debug info out of cvsnt on the client side by adding -tttt to > your command. On the server side, you can shut down the service and run > "cvsservice -test" and (I think) get all the debug info to the terminal > window. Tried both. When the logon fails - cvsservice shows no debug output - as expected. Client side CVSNT debug info is of no help either - simply says that login failed... same as if I explicitly give an incorrect login and password on the command line. Stumped here... How exactly does CVSNT decide which login name to use? Best regards, Jurko
