I would say that it in principle *always* will use the logged on user
on the workstation from which you work. If it somehow managed to get
around this earlier it is probably a bug in that implementatiion,
because the whole idea with SSPI is to reuse the Windows logon and not
some random share permissions.
In cases where the user connects to a server from a workstation that
is not on the same domain as the server then SSPI offers the alternate
syntax:
 :sspi:user at server:/repo
This needs a cvs login (once) to determine the credentials and these
are then cached in the local user part of the registry.
This way it is always quite clear which account to use.
